Statement as of 1:01 PM CDT on March 15, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at St. Louis
* from Tuesday evening to Saturday.
* At 12 PM Monday the stage was 27.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is forecast to rise above flood stage Tuesday
night... crest near 31.1 feet Thursday evening and should fall below
flood stage Friday night.
* Impact... at 31.0 feet... water begins entering the downtown parking
garage.
* Impact... at 30.0 feet... floodwall at lacledes Landing is closed.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at St. Charles
* until Friday morning.
* At 9 am Monday the stage was 24.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is forecast to crest near 25.8 feet Wednesday
and should fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... Highway 94 begins flooding 1.5 miles SW of
Matson, MO.
* Impact... at 25.0 feet... flood stage. Minor flooding begins. The
right bank downstream overflows, flooding agricultural bottomland.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is forecast to crest near 28.7 feet Thursday
evening.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... house at the end of kasebaum Lane is
surrounded by water just west of Lemay Ferry Road bridge.
