An east swell and higher than normal astronomical tides is expected to lead to ocean overwash problems again for portions of Highway 12 during this mornings high tide... which is around 830 am. Motorists traveling south from the Bonner bridge should be especially cautious for water on the Road along Pea Island and mirlo beach. A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate minor flooding of low areas along the shore. Precautionary/preparedness actions...
