Weather Underground Forecast for Saturday, January 28, 2012.

Areas of active weather will develop in the Caribbean Sea and Latin America on Saturday. An area of low pressure lingers over Panama and pushes abundant moisture onshore from the western Caribbean Sea. This will kick up scattered showers and thunderstorms across Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Meanwhile to the north, a low pressure system that swept through the Eastern US will push a cold front over the Gulf of Mexico and into the northern Caribbean Sea. The frontal boundary will start to weaken on Saturday, thus, only a few scattered showers are likely from the Bahamas and southern Florida, through western Cuba and the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. In the east, onshore flow from the Gulf of Mexico may push enough moisture into central Mexico, triggering a few rain showers. Mexico City will see a chance of rain with highs in the lower 70s(F)/ lower 20s(C).
