southern Duval counties until 400 PM EDT...

At 318 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Worthington Spring, moving northeast at 60 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph can be expected along
with possible minor damage.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Starke, Lake Butler,
Raiford, Worthington Spring, mandarin, Fruit Cove and Arlington.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
