Issued: 7:45 PM CST Feb. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 4 am to noon
CST Thursday...

* what... mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of up to one half inch and ice accumulations of
up to one tenth of an inch are expected.

* Where... portions of northeast Missouri, southeast Iowa and
west central Illinois.

* When... from 4 am to noon CST Thursday.

* Additional details... the ice will result in difficult travel
conditions, including during the morning commute on Thursday.
Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while

Flood Watch

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Watch for
the Mississippi River at Gladstone ld18
* until Sunday.
* At 8:00 am Wednesday the stage was 6.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage Friday morning... and continue
rising to 10.8 feet Saturday morning. Fall below flood stage
Sunday.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream. There is
limited confidence in this flow due to ice on area rivers.
Consequently there is limited confidence in the river reaching
flood stage.
