... Gusty winds... heavy rain... and a little snow tonight...

A cold front will move through eastern Kentucky tonight. South
winds will gust between 25 and 35 mph at times early this evening,
with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected for elevations above 2500
feet. Winds this strong can blow around loose objects. Rain will
fall heavily at times, with amounts generally between and inch
and an inch and a half expected. Some minor flooding of low lying
areas will be possible, and larger creeks and rivers will run high
from late tonight through Friday. Colder air will move in from
the northwest after midnight, changing rain to snow, although most
locations will see less than a half inch of snow accumulation.
Some slick spots may develop on elevated bridges and untreated
roads by dawn Thursday morning, impacting the morning commute.
