Watches & Warnings

Special Statement
Issued: 12:03 PM MST Feb. 17, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Accumulating snow expected late tonight through Sunday
morning...

Widespread accumulating snow is expected across most of western
and central North Dakota late tonight through Sunday morning. The
areas favored to receive at least 3 inches of snow are between
I-94 and the international border, with the higher amounts around
the Highway 2 corridor. It is not out of the question that a few
localized areas may receive upwards of 5 to 6 inches. Lesser
amounts are favored far south.

As the snow begins to depart, winds will pick up and breezy
conditions will bring the potential for patchy blowing snow,
mainly across the James River Valley.

A brief period of freezing drizzle may be possible south of I-94.
Some uncertainty in potential snowfall amounts and locations
remain. Hazardous travel conditions may develop. See
www.Weather.Gov/bis for details.
