Rapidly changing weather conditions are expected late tonight into
Saturday. A strong Arctic cold front will cross the area late
tonight. This will bring strong north winds and much colder
temperatures to the area for Saturday. Wind chills near zero are
expected Saturday morning across northern Nebraska, with readings
of 5 to 10 above across central through southwest Nebraska and
into the Panhandle.

A period of light freezing drizzle is possible late tonight into
Saturday morning as the cold air arrives. In addition, light snow
with accumulations of 1 to 2 inches is expected across far
southwest Nebraska Saturday.
