... Wintry mix into the early afternoon...

A wintry mix of snow, sleet, rain and a brief period of freezing
rain will impact the southern Adirondacks, and the northern
reaches of the Lake George region until 2 PM. The precipitation
will likely transition to all snow in the mid to late afternoon.
Total snow and sleet amounts the next few hours will be under an
inch with a light coating of ice possible in a few locations.
Temperatures will hover in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Some
untreated roads or surfaces will become slippery. Exercise
caution when traveling late this morning into the afternoon, and
be aware that wet surfaces could contain slick icy spots.
