... Dense fog advisory in effect until 8 am EDT Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 8 am EDT Wednesday.

* Locations... the Eastern Lake Ontario region. The most dense fog
will be near the Lake Ontario shoreline.

* Timing... through early Wednesday morning.

* Visibilities... near zero at times.

* Impacts... reduced visibilities in fog will result in hazardous
travel conditions. Motorists are urged to slow down in areas
with poor visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory is issued when dense fog will substantially
reduce visibilities, resulting in hazardous driving conditions in
some areas. Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down,
as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
