... High Wind Warning remains in effect from 2 am to 6 PM EST
Sunday...

* locations... Chautauqua County, mainly along and northwest of
the Chautauqua ridge.

* Timing... from overnight tonight through early Sunday evening.

* Winds... southeast 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph overnight
tonight becoming southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
Sunday morning.

* Impacts... damaging winds likely. Shallow rooted trees will be
the most susceptible and be downed more easily with the
recently thawed and saturated soil conditions. Travel may
become hazardous for high profile vehicles, especially along
the thruway.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

High winds of 58 mph or greater will make driving difficult and
could result in property damage, including downed trees and power
lines. Scattered power outages are expected. Home owners should
secure loose objects.
