The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
western Putnam County in west central Ohio...
southeastern Paulding County in west central Ohio...
southeastern Henry County in northwestern Ohio...
eastern Van Wert County in west central Ohio...
west central Allen County in west central Ohio...

* until 930 am EDT.

* At 631 am EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain which will cause flooding. Doppler radar estimates and
gauge readings indicate that between 2 and 4 inches of rain has
fallen across the warning area overnight. Runoff from this heavy
rainfall will result in flooding this morning.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Delphos, Kalida, Continental, Holgate, Glandorf, Ottoville, Ohio
City, Hamler, Middle Point, Fort Jennings, DuPont, Cloverdale,
Miller City, Venedocia, New Bavaria, Elgin, Rushmore, Jonestown,
Rimer and Wisterman.

This Flood Warning replaces the previously issued flood advisory.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* At 418 am EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Saturated conditions persist across much of the
advisory due to heavy rainfall that occurred on Monday. Rainfall
this morning will lead to additional minor flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Defiance, Van Wert, Napoleon, Bryan, Wauseon, Delphos, Archbold,
Swanton, Hicksville, Paulding, Delta, Spencerville, Antwerp,
Kalida, Stryker, Payne, Liberty Center, Continental, Holgate and
Convoy.
