Tornado Watch 18 remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for the
following locations

Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Issued: 3:22 PM EDT Mar. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 400 PM EDT
for Charleston... Berkeley and Dorchester counties...

At 322 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 miles northeast of Moncks Corner to 16 miles west
of McClellanville to Archdale, moving east at 65 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
         damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include...
Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan,
Moncks Corner, Middleton place and slands bridge.

This warning includes...
I-26 between mile markers 188 and 220.
I-526 between mile markers 11 and 26.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place
of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small
interior room.
