... Red flag warning in effect from 11 am this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening for dangerous fire weather conditions...

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a red flag
warning, which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* Wind... winds from the west at 25 to 35 mph with gusts from 40
to 50 mph.

* Humidity... 15 to 20 percent.

* Fuels... dry

* impacts... any fires that develop could spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning or activity that could produce Sparks is
discouraged.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... .or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
