... Bitter cold wind chills across the area this morning...

Temperatures across the area early this morning were around 5
below, to as low as around 20 below in the normally colder low
laying areas. Where southeast winds were 5 to 10 mph, wind chills
were in the 10 below to 25 below range. These wind chills are
going to persist through sunrise.

If you will be headed outdoors early this morning, be prepared
for the cold temperatures and bitter wind chills. Dress in layers,
including warm boots or shoes, gloves or mittens and a hat.
