... Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday morning...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest
Virginia, and West Virginia.

* Through Thursday morning.

* Moderate to heavy rain will overspread the area lasting through
early Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts as high as 1 to 2
inches will be possible. The rain, combined with a saturated
ground, will likely lead to flooding of creeks, streams and
rivers which are already running high.

* Flooding of roads along streams, creeks and rivers, as well as
other low lying and poor drainage areas, is possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
